At the funeral of someone I knew, I noticed his relatives, who were not entirely blameless in his death, be desperately upset. “Get up! You can’t die! You can’t die!” they screamed and wept. And I was thinking: “Were he to come back to life, would these same people let him lead the life that he wanted...?”
