Kako nastaje dobar scenarij za kratki film?

Na četverodnevnoj radionici u Splitu, scenarist, redatelj i redovni profesor na filmskoj školi u Pragu Diego Fandos, vodit će polaznike kroz analizu filmova, pisanje i doradu vlastitih priča.

Radit će se na oblikovanju likova, sukoba, strukture i dijaloga, uz istraživanje različitih pristupa filmskom pripovijedanju. Cilj je da svaki polaznik razvije kvalitetan nacrt scenarija za kratki film ili značajno unaprijedi svoj postojeći scenarij.

DIEGO FANDOS — ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Writing is a combination of passion and craft, and this four-day workshop aims to explore the essential ingredients needed to create a powerful short film script. Most of these elements can also be applied to feature films.

We’ll watch and analyse both successful and less successful short films, examining where they work and where they fall short. We’ll then apply these lessons to the scripts that students will write or rewrite during the course.

We’ll cover topics such as Character, Conflict, Structure and Dialogue, approaching screenwriting through the lenses of both archplot (classical storytelling) and miniplot (arthouse narratives in which seemingly nothing happens).

The workshop will combine film analysis, practical writing exercises and individual feedback. Students are welcome to bring their own ideas, but we’ll also work on creative exercises designed to generate new stories.

The goal is for each student to leave the workshop with a solid draft of a short film script, or a significantly improved version of an existing one.

At the end of the workshop, one student will receive an award: free tuition for a summer workshop at Prague Film School in June 2027. Travel and accommodation expenses are not included.
