Sinopsis
After many years away, Vera returns to her childhood village with her young son for her father’s funeral. In the house where she grew up, she is met by her brother, his wife, and her mother the people she left behind in an attempt to escape pain and unspoken memories. In the shadow of mourning, old resentments and long-buried secrets begin to surface, stirring the guilt and bitterness that once tore the family apart. Vera tries to keep the peace, but her arrival reawakens everything she tried so hard to forget. Surrounded by memories steeped in the past and her mother’s quiet reproaches, Vera must confront whether one can ever truly escape their roots.
