The film is inspired by Borges’ short story Aleph.

Aleph represents a unique point through which we can see all events in space and time.

The protagonist entangles in a world of simultaneous events. Passing through Aleph’s portals, he experiences humanity’s fears and sufferings. The accent is on continuous metamorphoses, as well as the atmosphere of anxiety complemented by noises. His character has constantly been changing.

A man is getting off the train. It stops by an old house with a dark entrance and enters it. In a dark room, he sees a monitor showing a silhouette. The man is staring at the screen. At one point, the two profiles connect by a kiss that follows the sound of the saxophone.

Through decay and constant transformation, the protagonist moves into a hellish, simultaneously intertwining chaos of events, creating forms of short duration. His character constantly changes, and he cannot find solid incorporation. The film’s end marks a sudden exit from ALEPH, accompanied by fragments of previous frames, reversibly unscrewing and the scene of the protagonist merging with the character of Aleph inside the monitor. Ultimately, the protagonist assumes the identity of ALEPH and, as such, exits the building.
