On each anniversary of my mother’s passing away, the same question comes up: what have I done with this time since she is no more? Through the images I have filmed since she passed eleven years ago, I discover a path traveled without her, a world where I can fit in, in a lineage, in a shared, living and vivid story that drives me forward. After Le Tablier Bleu, Onze is the second autobiographical opus which questions the death and mourning of the mother, the place of images in life with absence.
